Writers' strike is over
The writers guild of America strike had ended today - 29, January 2008.
More than 12,000 writers had taken part at the strike since November, 2007.
The strike had ended after the writers guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers had reached an agreement.

2008 Maine Republican primary results
The Maine Republican primary took place on February, 1.
This primary held a big surprise. After not winning any of the previous primary elections, the big winner of the 2008 Maine Republican primary was Rudy Giuliani, who got 32% of the votes.
John McCain who will be most likely the Repulican candidate for presidency got only 28% and came second before Mike Huckabee.

Hurricane Dolly was one of the 10 strongest hurricanes in the history of the United States.
Although, It wasn't as deadliest as Hurricane Katrina, It had caused severe damages and dozens of casulties in 3 different contries.
The Hurricane is the forth storm of the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season and experts expect at least 9 more storms.

Brazil had beaten Ireland in today's match ( 06 Feb 2008 ) -
The national football team of Brazil has scored 6 goals while the Irish team had scored only one.
The best players were Gilberto Silva and Robinio. Ronaldinho had an awful game and did not play at all at the second half.
The friendly match which took place in Dublin, Ireland is the first match of Brazil this year. The last soccer match between those two countries had ended with a draw.

McFrappuccino - The biggest failure ever
It seems that McDonalds lost it's magic touch after finishing the year of 2008 with major loss due to the coffee business model.
Starbucks with the help of the legendary CEO Howard Shultz had beaten McDonalds in the coffee battle and it seems that they are going to beat them in the all war.
Howard Shultz had said today they are going to start selling Hamburgers in 2009 and to take advantage of the bad momentum of their rival.

Sundance Film Festival 2008 brought a lot of good movies.
However, one movie got the most awards and compliment - "Suspension" .
