The Maine Republican primary took place on February, 1.
This primary held a big surprise. After not winning any of the previous primary elections, the big winner of the 2008 Maine Republican primary was Rudy Giuliani, who got 32% of the votes.
John McCain who will be most likely the Repulican candidate for presidency got only 28% and came second before Mike Huckabee.

The results of the Parliamentary elections in Monaco
The Monegasque parliamentary election took place in Monaco on 3 February, 2008.
The results of the Monegasque parliamentary election were quite expected in the calm country.
UP (Union pour la Principauté) had won 14 seats out of 24 seats at the council.

South Carolina Democratic Primary Results
The South Carolina Democratic Primary was held on Saturday, January 26, 2008.
The results were tied and a gap of 100 votes had set Barak Obama as the winner over Hillary Clinton.

2008 Serbian presidential election results
The first election for President since its independence took place in January 20, 2008.
Boris Tadic from the democratic party has gained the most votes. Yet, a second round will be held in which Boris Tadic and Tomislav Nicolic from the Serbian radical party will compete.

Super Tuesday 2008 results
The results of the super Tuesday 2008 (February, 5Th) are not so surprising - Hillary Clinton won all the states for the Democrats - Barak Obama thinks about resigning from the race.
Rudy Giuliani took most of the states for the Republicans.
